5. Feni and alcohol 



Goa is known for its local alcohol Feni and cheap alcohol. There are various versions of Feni but the refined one is best for you. The alcohol is very cheap there due to the cheap state tax so dont be afraid to enjoy but remember to be it in the limit as the alcohol as it may be cheap but the rules are very strict there, you may end up getting fined.


6. SeaFood vs Vegetarians


The Goa is also famous for its fresh seafood and is stuffed with seafood restaurants. The seafood is served in their local curry and spices so it is a must try.  Whereas a vegetarian can find it difficult to rest their gut, but dont worry there are also vegetarian restaurants and you can always have dominoes pizza.



7. Red Flags on the beaches 



Most of us dont even know what the red flags on the beaches are for, it indicates that there are high tides in that area and you should not consider swimming in the sea. The red flag is placed time to time by the lifeguard association of the State



8. Cash or Cards 



If you carry a lot of credit or debit cards and always shop on them then goa can be a little annoying for you, as goa may be advancing like other states but its market does not accept cards that much, they local vendors only deal in cash only the fine dine restaurants accept cash.




9. Con artist 



Goa is filled with con artists, tourists can be easily conned and mugged and goa is a place where you can find a lot of tourists. Be aware of your surroundings and dont get excited when you get an extremely good offer, it can be a conning trick.
